What are the differences between the available types of door fillings?
There are three main types of door fillings offered by DinDecor:
Double-sided overlay fillings :
- These structures allow for high insulating properties of the door.
- The door leaf is covered with aluminum cladding on both sides, which makes the door look elegant and aesthetic.
- The total thickness of the filling is the largest and adapted to the given door profile system.
One-sided overlay fillings :
- These door panels consist of aluminum cladding.
- A 3 mm thick aluminum sheet is glued to the door frame from the outside, remaining invisible from the outside, and glazing beads are used on the inside.
- This design gives the door an elegant and coherent look.
Batch fillings :
- Batch fillings are panels installed in the door leaf in a manner similar to generally used insulating glass.
- The leaf profile is visible from both the outside and the inside of the door.
- This is the simplest and fastest door filling structure to install, available in various thicknesses.
The choice of the appropriate type of door filling depends on individual needs, aesthetic preferences and the use of the door. Each of these types has its own features and advantages that can be adapted to the specific requirements of the door project. For example, double-sided overlay fillings may be more insulating, while insert fillings are simpler and quicker to install.
